Many parishioners participate in supporting the work of the Priests of the parish and in the provision of various parish services. We welcome more volunteers to lighten the load of those already involved and to provide more and varied parish services.  If you should wish to volunteer, please contact the Parish Office, Tel (01) 4241000. Office hours are from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (Lunch break 1pm to 2pm) ; closed Saturday and Sunday.

The following lists the various groups in the Parish

Parish Pastoral Council

This is a group through which the priests and parishioners work together to coordinate and enhance the life of the parish.The current chairperson is Mary Kearney.

Liturgy
Members participate in the celebration of the mass and other sacraments, coordinate and prepare Childrens’ Masses, and liturgies for Lent, Easter, Advent, Christmas and other special occasions

Ministers of the Word (Readers)
The scriptures are read by lay Ministers of the Word at all Sunday and weekday masses.

Ministers of the Eucharist
Holy Communion is distributed by Ministers of the Eucharist at all Sunday and weekday masses, and to the sick.

Liturgy Groups

They plan and coordinate liturgies for special occasions.

Finance Committee
This Committee advises the Parish Priest and the Parish Pastoral Council on the of the finances of the Parish and on fund raising. There are also teams who assist with the collection and counting of the funds received:

Planned Giving counters
Silver Circle collectors

Maintenance of Church and Grounds
Much work is required to maintain the Church and grounds. This involves teams for:

Church Cleaning
Maintenance of Grounds

Website Maintenance, Updating and Development
A sub- committee of the Parish Pastoral Council oversees this task.

Support Groups
These groups reach out to support people experiencing difficulties who need help
and support
